| Arena & Chuck Arena Bickel and Chuck Suslowicz met as engineering students while living in the same dorm on the NC State campus. Who knew they were destined to become permanent roommates! Working with Angie Wright of Chic Details, they selected The Umstead Hotel for an elegant and intimate outdoor wedding and a sophisticated reception for just family and close friends. The wedding day was set for Father’s Day, to honor Arena’s father who had passed away a few years prior. Wedding colors were deep sky blue with chocolate brown accents. Arena and Chuck selected an unusual, but beautiful and upbeat, favorite piece from “The Lord of the Rings” Trilogy as their recessional song. Following the ceremony, guests were greeted with Peach Bellinis and Mimosas on the Terrace, then welcomed into the Ballroom for a fabulous Wedding Brunch. Fresh fruit in martini glasses adorned each setting, and food stations included omelets and waffles made to order, prime rib, ham, chicken, rockfish, and assorted side dishes. As if that weren’t enough to satisfy all appetites, each guest took home three cookies, Sugar, Chocolate Chip, and Snicker Doodle, in a clear bag tied with chocolate colored ribbon.
